Your column reveals that you, unconsciously perhaps, really don’t take seriously any of the efforts to prosecute Trump. And you’re right. It is so obvious. Even before Trump was elected, the Democrats were scheming to remove him from office if he was elected. The present prosecution and the ones that may follow are more of the same.
Mike Schmidt said it best. When asked why he never celebrated when he hit a home run, he said: This game is hard enough without making the other guy mad at you. The Democrats used to understand that, but their pathological hatred of Trump has produced derangement.
