But now that he runs—really runs—the world’s greatest power without those pesky generals or anyone else in the way, why leave Ukraine solely to Putin? Trump is a secret spy for Putin. Putin wants Ukraine under his control, he wants to weaken the United States, he wants to weaken and split apart the Western democracies, especially between the United States and Nato and the European Union.
Trump is doing that. First, he is throwing Ukraine under the bus. Second, he is destroying the United States Military and government, by firing personnel haphazardly and throwing away their institutional memory and expertise. And finally, he is weakening the alliance between the United States and its Western allies. It sure appears that Trump is doing everything that Putin wants.
I hope that I am wrong. I love this country, and am horrified how quickly our democracy can be destroyed. If Congress ever comes to its senses, Trump should be impeached or be forced to resign. Marion Rita Hubing

Points well taken. But Biden did call Putin a "killer" in 2021. Trump has barely uttered a negative word about Putin.
